Berenice’s Biography

Berenice’s recent work has developed from her experience as a silk painter and illustrator. Her love of color and light and the spontaneity, which now working in another water medium provides, has given her the unique opportunity to express herself anew.
Formally a fine arts figurative silk painter, she has now turned her attention to another lifelong interest of abstract watercolor painting on paper.

Her previous silk paintings have been exhibited at the Rye Arts Center, Arts Westchester, the Katonah Museum of Art, Union Station, Kansas City, MO, and Hudson Valley Center for Contemporary Art, Peekskill, NY
